Bustier Bra

The Easy ExpressionTM Bustier Bra is a safe and simple product to use:

1) Put the Bustier on – if you are wearing a nursing bra there is no need to take it off first, simply unbutton your shirt and then unhook, unzip, unpop etc. your nursing bra to uncover your breasts. Then put on the Bustier and zip it up. Make sure that the nipple holes are over your nipples and the bra is sitting comfortably across your back.

2) Insert the collecting sets – by passing the funnel of the collecting sets through the nipple hole. The nipple
holes stretch to accommodate the funnel as you squeeze them through, they then hold the funnel snuggly in place allowing you to express hands-free.

3) Express! – for information and advice on expressing visit our website. A few tips follow:

• It is a good idea to give your breasts a massage before you start to express - this will help your let-down. Also, with the Bustier, it is possible to massage your breasts while you express.

• If you are using the Bustier to single pump, place a breast pad inside the nipple hole of the breast that you are not expressing from. Alternatively, if you are wearing a nursing bra underneath, only unhook/unclip and uncover the breast on the side you wish to pump from.

• Some brands of pump come with an optional silicone breast-shield. If you have one of these silicone breast-shields and want to use it, then put the Bustier and collecting sets on, as above. Then slip the breast-shield into the collecting funnel from the inside, ie: gently pull the Bustier and collecting set away from your breast and slip the breast-shield into the collecting funnel.

• If you are expressing breast milk more than two or three times a week you may want to buy more than one Bustier. That way, one Bustier can always be in the wash.

Please take note of, and follow, these safety guidelines:

• The Bustier comes in five sizes: Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, XX-Large. For details of the cup and chest sizes that these sizes correspond to, please visit our website. The Bustier should fit snuggly so that it can hold the collecting funnels of the breast pump in place. However, the Bustier is not intended to feel tight, restrictive or uncomfortable in any way. Before you use the Bustier to express breast milk, please have a shower or bath and then try yours on for size. If it is either too big or too small please send it back to the address above for a replacement of the right size.

• Unlike a nursing bra which can be worn all day, the Bustier is intended to be worn just while you are expressing breast milk using an electric breast pump. Do not wear Bustier while sleeping.

• Like many bras, the Bustier is 92% Cotton and 8% Lycra. If you are allergic to cotton and/or Lycra, or if you have any allergic reaction to the Bustier you should not use the product.

• Like other bras, the Bustier is an undergarment and is intended to be worn straight onto the skin, ie: not on top of other clothes. The only exception is that you can wear The Bustier on top of your nursing bra - just unhook/clip/unzip/unpop the cup of your nursing bra to uncover your breasts.

Express Yourself Bras cannot take responsibility for any problems which may arise, should you fail to follow the above guidelines.

We are regularly overwhelmed by the positive feedback we get from mums using our Expressing bras. What do you do while you express with the bra? How much time does it save you a day? If you get a chance please email us from the website and let us know. Also, why not consider writing an article about your breastfeeding experience – so mums can share with mums and we can all learn from each other.
